Diabetes

Diabetes

I also agree with you that Diabetes is a national health disaster. In the United States 9.3 percent that is approximately 29 million people have diabetes and this makes Diabetes one of the chronic diseases that cause increased mortality rate in the United States hospitals and mostly targeting the immigrants United States, & United States, 2000). Disparities and failure to critically create awareness assess prevention issues and also the management of the disease has contributed to the increased wrath of the disease and therefore constraining the health budget as the cases continue registering an increasing trend. I believe the reason as to why the immigrants still register high cases of diabetes is because most are not enrolled in proper health care programs or health insurance policies and therefore are not in a position to receive high-quality health care services. Most of them also lack financial capability to cater for their medical bills and therefore having no chance in some of the known medical facilities in the country. Privatization of health being a basic need has shifter quality care to the ones who are financially stable receive the best medical services and therefore discriminating the people with low financial capabilities and therefore leading to increased health conditions.
